Employment court
The employment court building was formerly used as an administrative building by Thyssen, a steelmaker. One of several extensively restored industrial monuments in Gelsenkirchen, it occupies a site in the southern part of town next to the Rhine-Elbe Science Park and Technology Centre, which was built in 1991.
